CHASTITY

     The bed is undefiled in marriage (Heb.13.4). God designed sexual intercourse for the reproduction process--it is honorable in marriage. Every child that comes into this world is a spark of God: in the image of the creator.

     It is God's will that mankind be productive. Having children is a blessed activity in holy matrimony. Celibacy is a holy exception. So is prayer and fasting of mates.

     God will honor a loyal marital relationship wherein neither mate becomes stained with fornication. The children will have reason to honor their parent's faithfulness.

     Sexual intercourse outside of holy matrimony is sinful: whether it manifests itself in adultery, wastefulness, or fornication. An instance of wastefulness in marriage occurred when Onan secreted upon the ground, rather than making a complete effort to be sexually fruitful with his wife--this appeared wicked before the Lord; God killed him (Gen. 38.9).
