BUILDING UPON LOVE AND FAITH: MEETING THE CHALLENGE

God loves you.

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."

He gave his only begotten son for you, the Lord Jesus Christ. The time is late and I wanted to speak to you about God's love and his blessed rewards to those who put their faith in him, but recently I have had to work hard to expose the errors of people and ministers that followed their so called leaders who have not apologized for their heresies. I also have been busy fighting the NWO, which is wearing us out.

Everyone has sinned. God knows that. Jesus didn't come to condemn us; that is why Jesus came to save us. He was without sin and did not deserve death as the God-given judgment for the sinner, but his death was a sacrifice for our sin. He gave himself for us--so that we could be saved.

I would like you to concentrate on God's love and make sure you know that He has touched your heart. If you are not sure, you can ask him into your life now. Make sure you follow up with baptism if you haven't already done so. And we can keep our fellowship with him through confession of the things we haven't done as well as the things we have done: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (I John 1:9)

As Christians, we must make changes for God as he shows us and be blessed by it. However, we will suffer persecution, and more so for God as terrible times are coming.

Mt. 24:9 "Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake." See Mark 13 and Luke 21. Isaiah 24.

I want you to be able to meet this challenge through building up yourself by realizing God's love for you and building your faith by reading the bible. Read 1 John 5:11, 12 and be assured that you have eternal life.

1 John 5:11 "And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life."

We must face the tribulation ahead, and by knowing this, I would like to make you aware of an important point. We love our bodies and try to be good to ourselves. This is normal. However, a person can not live for Christ if he is not willing to die for him.

Luke 9:23 "And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. 24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. 25 For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?"

We must be willing to endure in faithfulness even if it does harm to our bodies and costs us our life. But really we will be gaining our future by denying the contemporary pleasures. Our reward in Heaven will be eternal. Halleluyah. What a small thing to give for such a blessed reward!

God loved his own son, Jesus, and he suffered unto death and was raised again.

Rom. 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

Remember God's love for you, and count it most precious. Amen.

"Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you." (2 Cor. 6.17)
